Lily has been struggling in school. She has fallen behind and it is crushing her self esteem. The school she was going to is a wonderful school. I have no criticism. I love their curriculum and I love how they push each student to be the best. Lily does not do well when she is pushed. She becomes very closed off and very frustrated. So, Michael and I decided to switch her to half day kindergarten.
Today was her first day there. I have never seen her so excited. She practically jumped out of bed.
She loved school. She knew most the kids in her class already. She also knew her teacher. She loved the short day....and she loves that she gets to eat lunch with me every day. Mostly, she loves that she doesn't have as much work :)
