Today was Dads and Donuts at Lily's school.
With Michael still out of town,
Lily decided to invite my dad to go with her.
She was thrilled when he said he would go with her. She even wanted him to pick her up. She also wanted to wear a dress because she considered it a real date.
Lily has been the child who has missed Michael the most. Most nights she comes to me in tears asking to talk to him before she goes to bed. I am glad that she didn't have to miss out on dads and donuts....and be reminded of her dad being gone again! Thanks dad for taking her.
