#70

It has been 70 days since Michael first left for training.
It is only 10 days until he is ALL done.
You know the week before a much anticipated vacation?
You know how it goes extremely slow?
That is exactly how the next 10 days will be.
 He left early Sunday morning
and I am amazed that it was just yesterday I saw him.
It feels like he has been gone a week.

I've learned quite a lot while Michael has been gone:

1) I am a stress eater

2) If no one is here to watch me, I don't care that I am a stress eater.

3) Although I love a home cooked meal and a very clean house,
the only real person I was trying to impress was Michael...
so there have been few home cooked meals and my house has been quite messy.

4) I need my kids.

5) Shopping does not take away the loneliness.

6) Crying does not take away the loneliness.

7) Chick flicks are much more fun when I make Michael watch them with me.

8) Bedtime for my children gets earlier and earlier each night.

9) Hearing my phone ring or ding is one of my favorite sounds.

10) I am much stronger than I thought I was.
