Michael had a 3 day business trip in Vegas this week. Unfortunately he was to be going with someone else, so I wouldn't be able to stay with him. Luckily, last minute, he ended up having the hotel room all to himself.
Monday night I had the choice to be without him for a few days, or to drive down and stay in a hotel with him and hang out while he went to a bunch of conferences. I chose Vegas!!
Normally he has a regular room, but for some reason, the hotel was packed. So, he was upgraded to their nicest suite. When I say nicest, I mean nicest! It was HUGE. We even had an air hockey table in the room. There were 3 flat screen t.v.'s to choose from and if we wanted, our own private poker table. Here is a small picture...hard to see, but this was the living area of our suite.

Another great thing about our room was the view. We were at one of the very top levels, and we could see almost everything. Nora's favorite thing was the view of the Bellagio fountain. We couldn't hear the music, but we were able to see everything from our window.
We spent our days there swimming, shopping, eating and lounging. The kids loved it. Here is a picture of the beautiful pool we were able to go to:
It was hard knowing that Michael was there in town, but he couldn't spend much time with us. Still, it was better to have him near than far. I am a pansy when it comes to my husband out of town.
