holiday lights

Michael and I have been moping
around the house the last week.  Truly moping!
So, we decided to get out of the house with the kids tonight
and do something fun and uplifting.
We went to Tuacahn to see the
 lights, the train and Santa.
The kids loved it.
We covered them in layers of clothing
and they were still cold.

Nora always gets a kick out of going to Tuacahn for one reason:  She gets to see her grandparents names carved in a stone.  She told us tonight "It's pretty cool that my grandparents are famous for building Tuacahn!"

After Tuacahn, we headed to the Phineas and Ferb decorated house.  They had hot chocolate, hot dogs, awesome lights and Santa again!
(Michael purposefully put the hot dog in the picture).
Lily didn't want to talk to Santa anymore.  She told me, "I've already asked Santa for too much."  That is just her way of not looking too afraid or embarrassed to talk to Santa again :)

It was good to get out and do things.  We really needed it!  We came home to some delicious treats from some neighbors.  The greatest surprise was a large ham that someone left on our door step.  If by chance the person who gave it to us is reading this....THANK YOU!  We are very grateful.  It brought us to tears.

Merry Christmas, Love the Foley Family
