Michael and I do not have many traditions. However, there is one tradition that we have that I LOVE! We always decorate for Christmas the day after Halloween. We have done this since we were first married.
This is the first year that we have been apart during any portion of the holiday season....so the decorating has been left to me (and the kids). It has been quite lonely decorating the house. In fact, I have not been very excited about it at all. This tradition is no fun without Michael. However, I have done it because it is a tradition and the kids LOVE it!

Since we may be moving before Christmas, I didn't want to have an elaborate tree that we would need to take down in a hurry. Not to mention, a Realtor taking pictures may not want a tree in the pictures!
