You'd think with a newborn coming in a few months we would be grateful to our 2 year old for keeping us up at night and helping us get used to lack of sleep. However, it is really starting to get annoying.
Not only will Lily refuse to sleep most nights, when she does fall asleep, it is never in her own bed. I have taken a few pictures of a few rough nights we have had with her.
This is a picture of her asleep in her playhouse. She was actually trapped and I had to remove the cover to find her. I don't know how she got in there.
After a couple hours of trying to get both girls to sleep one night, I finally decided to lock them in their room and see what would happen. Once it was silent, this is what I found. The great thing about this is that they were fighting for most of the night and when I found them asleep, they were holding hands:
This picture was taken this morning. Nora woke up first and came in to my room asking where Lily was. Nora insisted that she wasn't in bed, so I checked. She decided it would be more comfortable to sleep under her bed.
