radio talent

Michael took the kids to the radio studio on Saturday (by their request).

They all pretended to be on the radio and didn't want to stop.

Michael gave them all a tour of all the stations and how it work.

I didn't realize how intrigued the kids would be by a radio station :)

I have successfully potty trained my last child! It actually happened unexpectedly! I wasn't planning on potty training him, but I am sure glad I did. He caught on quite quickly...I guess he should for a 3 1/2 year old :)

surgery #2

Michael successfully had his 2nd surgery! He is becoming a natural at this thing. Hopefully this is his last one ever :)

They made him leave the surgical center the second he woke up from anesthesia which made him mad. He had no time to relax at all. They just pushed him out the door as fast as they could!

This is him on the 2nd day, still in a lot of pain.

There is an upside to this....

He can't eat very much fat. Within 2 weeks he has lost 11 lbs. This of course was not his goal, but he is happy nonetheless!

dentist

Most kids hate the dentist, right?

Clark looks rather happy at the dentist.

This picture was taken literally 20 seconds before he had a breakdown.

So far all my kids have been to the dentist and Nora is the only one who has acted great during the whole visit! At least there have been no sign of cavities yet!

Our neighborhood will soon be filled with A LOT of newborns. The first of many was born a few weeks ago. Lily and Emma were so excited to hold him and I just had to capture their cuteness!

Clarks Story

Clark loves to tell stories. I decided to film him. The story he is telling is the shortened version of what he had told me earlier. For some reason, once the camera is on he doesn't talk as much!

Michael had to do a radio broadcast on a Saturday. It was raining and windy outside and we were all bored. So, we went swimming! I stayed out of the water for the most part just watching them and taking pictures.

The day of presidents...

Since the weather has been wonderful, we decided to go for a hike on Presidents day. It was a great day for hiking. I think our only complaint was that apparently everyone else had the same idea we had. It was packed. Parking was full and down the street. Other than that, it was a great day!

Surprise visit

We received a knock on our door late in the afternoon. To our surprise, it was our cousins from Parowan. We were all thrilled they had stopped by to see us and chat and play for awhile!

Here are Emma's cute birthday pictures. It was freezing outside when we took them and you can tell how cold she was in some of the pictures. She did great in spite of the weather!
